Tim Ulbrich, PharmD received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University and completed postgraduate residency training at The Ohio State University. Prior to making the move to work full-time on Your Financial Pharmacist in 2021, Tim spent 12 years in various academic positions at Northeast Ohio Medical University and The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy.
After completing pharmacy school and residency training, Tim and his wife, Jess, had more than $200,000 of non-mortgage debt. Through a self-taught financial education and hard work, Tim and Jess finished paying off $200,000 of debt in the fall of 2015. Shortly thereafter, Tim published a blog post outlining his debt repayment journey which would be the start of Your Financial Pharmacist.
Tim is CEO of Your Financial Pharmacist, host of the Your Financial Pharmacist Podcast and co-author of Seven Figure Pharmacist: How to Maximize Your Income, Eliminate Debt and Create Wealth. Tim has presented to over 200 pharmacy associations, colleges, and groups on various personal finance topics including debt management, investing, retirement planning, and financial well-being.

Tim grew up in the great state of New Jersey (seriously) and, after graduating from high school, he attended the United States Military Academy majoring in International Relations and branching Armor. After having a cup of coffee in the Army (thanks to the medical board), he started a career in logistics for a major retailer and then a construction company in Ohio and California. He enjoyed logistics but left that career desiring something more.
In 2012, Tim decided to move to Baltimore, MD to join a small independent financial planning firm where he could learn about the business and earn the necessary licenses and certifications to begin assisting clients in meeting their financial goals.
In 2016, he launched his financial planning firm Script Financial and in 2019 merged with Your Financial Pharmacist. Tim now lives in Columbus, Ohio.
