Key Points from the Episode

Episode Highlights

“I think that would be a lesson when you find a good person in your real estate journey, just keep them. Don’t negotiate. It’s not all about price. Real estate is a people business in that the quality of work that they offer, how fast they are –  it weighs way more than the price. Because if you, if you go with the cheaper one, it’s going to take them a long time. You’re going to eventually pay more.” – Naeem Farokhnia [17:54]

“For any maintenance issue, you need to have five vendors ready to go. A list of five vendors for HVAC, for roofing, for plumbing, electricity, flooring, painting. The top of the list is someone you have worked with before. They are responsive. The quality is good and the price is also good.” – Naeem Farokhnia [26:44]

“There are good deals out there everywhere. You just have to find them. You have to have a structure. How do you find them, how do you vet them? You have to be very careful. If you invest passively, you have to be very careful who the operator is and what their track record is, if they have integrity, if you can connect with them.” -Naeem Farokhnia [36:12]
